My name is Justin AKA Demonic Sweaters. In 2015 I started a podcast to talk about the stuff I find interesting and to interview interesting people. I took a long break during the 2020 pandemic, but started up again in early 2024. I've had great luck in getting amazing guests lined up since I've returned! Topics talked about are: Music, art, drums, paranormal, conspiracies, UFOs, self-employment, life struggles, money, health, philosophy, or basically anywhere our conversations wonder.

I'll be back - technical difficulties
Hey everyone,
Sorry for the delay in getting out the next episode. Archive.org has been hacked and is not allowing uploads at the moment. This matters because that is where I host this podcast. Once they allow uploads again I have a great episode already ready to upload.

Episode 69 - Damon Che - Yesness
The unique duo Yesness, formed by Kristian Dunn (El Ten Eleven) and Damon Che (Don Caballero), came together through astute musical matchmaking. Within a year of their first virtual meeting, their nascent project’s debut record, See You at the Solipsist Convention, was complete. Scaffolded around eight-string bass, knotty percussion, and intricate syncopation, See You at the Solipsist Convention is a carnival of delights for fans of the post-everything persuasion—uncategorizable yet reverent to the altar of instrumental rock. Album opener “Not So Sorry Now Are You” begins as a static-drenched funk bop that blossoms into a sweeping epic.
Quotes:
Damon Che: Aped the double heart throb bass drum pattern from the drummer in my dad’s band I always admired when I was a teenager. I'm glad Kristian put the piano passage in this one. It takes me back to when music was classy without even trying.
Kristian Dunn: This is one of the first songs I decided to add a bit of piano to. The part is ridiculously simple but seems to add some gravitas and still leave plenty of room for Damon to do his thing!

Episode #61 - Cera Gibson - Viral Fame vs Realworld
Cera Gibson is a very talented singer-songwriter, amateur comedian, based in Salt Lake City. In recent years she has experienced somewhat unexpected viral fame on social media platforms, largely from a certain video involving a tape measure.
Cera is a highly intelligent and interesting person to speak with. I really enjoyed our conversation. We covered everything from what her experience of going viral is like, and how she has been able to pivot some of those views into actual fans of her music, to sleep paralysis, aliens, AI, technology, witchcraft, and a lot more!

Episode #58 - Two Terrible Options
As of June 28th 2024, The United States Of America has selected the two worst candidates in the history of the country to be the next president. Many people shutter at the thought of Donald Trump winning. But the man that is supposed to be able to beat him can't even string together a comprehensible sentence.
